Of Counsel

Elycia Byrd
Elycia Byrd

Elecia Byrd represents individuals and families in a wide range of personal injury matters across multiple states. Licensed in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona, she draws on extensive experience with motor vehicle and trucking collisions, premises liability claims, dog attacks, and wrongful death cases. Clients value her combination of tenacity, careful preparation, and strong written and oral advocacy.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Elecia’s first passion was storytelling and literature. She attended the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor, earning a bachelor’s degree in English literature with a minor in Pedagogy. Coming from a family deeply invested in education, she initially considered teaching before deciding that she could make the greatest impact by guiding injured people through the legal system.

Elecia went on to earn her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and has devoted her career to representing people whose lives have been disrupted by serious injuries and loss. Having lost her mother at a young age, she approaches each case with a grounded sense of empathy and an understanding of how overwhelming the process can feel. That perspective, paired with her rigorous analysis and meticulous writing, helps her explain complex issues clearly and advocate effectively for her clients’ recovery.

In addition to her work at Radnor Law Group, Elecia has contributed to legal education as an adjunct professor in a paralegal program at a local community college, where she taught an Introduction to Law course. Teaching reinforced her commitment to mentoring future legal professionals and honed her ability to make complicated legal concepts accessible.

Outside the office, Elecia enjoys time with her husband and three children. She is an enthusiastic fan of the Houston Texans and Texas Longhorns, and she brings the same loyalty and energy she shows on game day to her advocacy for the clients she serves.
